Plastic Free July is organized by the Plastic Free Foundation and attracts millions of participants worldwide. It draws attention to the plastics crisis and challenges participants to reduce or eliminate single use plastics, either for the month, or permanently.
This is our fourth time participating in PFJ and it is always a revealing experience. Each year we seem to develop new, more sustainable practices, both as a library team and in our personal lives.
We strongly encourage you to join this worthwhile initiative.
