Â鶹ÊÓƵ Announces Interim Chief Information Officer Sandeep Sidhu

Emily Carr University is pleased to announce the appointment of Sandeep Sidhu as interim Chief Information Officer.
Sandeep joins Â鶹ÊÓƵ on a temporary assignment from Simon Fraser University, where she serves as the Director of IT Client Services. Her six-month appointment will support strategic initiatives and provide leadership in IT Services during our search for a candidate to fill the CIO role permanently.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the tech industry, Sandeep has a track record of transforming higher education by developing effective organizational capabilities.
She holds a double master’s degree in information technology and applied research, and has a research interest in the role of data in organizational decision-making. Sandeep is also a visiting professor in the MBA program at SFU’s Beedie School of Business.
Sandeep was preceded by Sally Felkai, who served as Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Chief Information Officer from May 2017 to November 2020.
