The 麻豆视频 Library is currently featuring two new database trials: Library Stack and The Fashion and Race Database. Take a look and let us know what you think!
Library Stack. Trial from October 6 through November 15, 2022

Library Stack is a growing collection of digital publications from contemporary art, design, architecture and theory. It combines a bibliographic catalog, an eBook lending system and tools for teaching and research.
LS collects numerous atypical media projects made by artists and designers, like these , , , , or . It also includes open-access books from publishers like , , , , , and the among many others.
It also includes commercial eBooks from publishers like , , , , , , , , and .
The Library will use usage statistics and feedback to determine whether or not to provide access to Library Stack beyond the trial period. Please fill out this to let us know what you think!

Fashion and Race Database. Trial from October 6 through November 6, 2022.

The Fashion and Race Database provides a roadmap for lasting change in the fashion system, as it offers lessons and resources that diversify how we understand fashion. The database is an invaluable platform for those who agree that it鈥檚 time to challenge dominant narratives and harmful practices in fashion.
Content includes original sections such as 鈥淥bjects that Matter,鈥 鈥淓ssays鈥 and 鈥淧rofiles鈥 of BIPOC fashion designers; a directory that catalogs various outside resources, practitioners, collectives and diversity initiatives; a podcast called 鈥淭he Invisible Seam: Unsung Stories of Black Culture and Fashion,鈥 where the Fashion and Race Database partners with Tommy Hilfiger; a Library of recommended resources reading lists to get started on particular themes in fashion studies.
